Hiding behind the name “Sarakina Estate”, as they do behind these pumpkins, is a couple of conscientious organic farmers, Kristy and Stefanos. We used to work in completely different fields in Athens until 2012, when we decided to permanently move to Zakynthos, manage the family’s olive grove and devote ourselves to the production of organic, premium, extra virgin olive oil.
Our love for good food and our devotion in protecting the environment are the two principles that guide every decision we make as producers.
By employing non-invasive organic farming techniques, we produce a premium high-phenolic olive oil that protects our health while adding exquisite flavors and aromas to every dish it accompanies.
An ethical and responsible agricultural practice, is one that promotes the production and availability of pure and clean produce while respecting the environment, its biodiversity and the final consumers, that is, ourselves first and foremost.
Keeping this principle in mind during all of our farming endeavours, and despite the general tendency of our times for profit maximization at all cost, we feel honored to be able to offer such an exquisite and pure product as our terroir extra virgin olive oil, of limited production and the highest quality.
